Google Play Protect Service is a Google service that comes with Google Play, created with the aim of protecting your Android device by ensuring that you don't install potentially harmful apps (PHAs). The app scans your device once a day, and if it finds one of these PHAs, it will send a notification so you can manually remove it.
Automatic protection on Android
Please note that, by default, Google Play Protect Service is enabled on all devices with Google Play. To access your dashboard, simply tap on your avatar (located in the upper right corner of Google Play), then tap on the Google Play Protect Service button. Here, you can see how much time has passed since the last scan and how many apps have been scanned.
Easily deactivate Play Protect
Deactivating Google Play Protect Service is very easy. Simply go to Configuration Options, then uncheck the option called Scan apps with Play Protect. To complete the changes, you will need to enter your lock pattern or PIN. Only after this verification will you be able to deactivate Play Protect. From the Configuration Options menu, you can also disable the option to send unknown apps (those that are not on Google Play).
Protection from Google for Android
Download Google Play Protect Service's APK if you're having problems with Google Play's Play Protect feature. This app can identify and help you remove potentially harmful apps, but it can also cause errors and incompatibilities on your Android device. For this reason, you should not uninstall it unless you encounter a problem.
